Cheerful Minds Childcare Ltd. strives to provide a family-like environment and quality care for your child. Located in a quiet residential North Nanaimo neighbourhood, in a cul-de-sac, with bright, spacious rooms and a fabulous green space, your child will have a fun, exciting and educational experience.
Owner/operator Dora is a certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and a mother of two children, aged five and seven. She has been around and looking after many children for over 10 years, including working in small in-home daycares, large group centres and babysitting. Caring for different age groups, she has acquired a wide range of knowledge, experience and the understanding and patience required to effectively meet the needs of children and families. Dora has completed the ECE and Responsible Adult trainings, holds a valid First Aid certificate and clean criminal record check. In addition, she also possesses two business diplomas and eight years of experience in Human Resources (HR) Management working in various industries.

It is also our mission to partner with parents/ guardians to provide their child with quality care to encourage a sense of belonging, acceptance and build their independence and self-esteem.
